Plume began with a simple belief — that the right accessory outlasts the outfit it finishes. We work in small runs, with makers we trust, and let the material do the talking.
We started in a narrow studio, cutting and finishing samples by hand and sending them back until the leather and the drape were right. That habit stayed with us: nothing ships until it wears the way we would want it to ourselves. It means fewer pieces each season, but it also means the tote you buy today is one you will still be carrying years from now.
Our materials do the quiet work. Full-grain leather that ages to a rich patina, silk twill that keeps its colour, and cashmere that softens instead of pilling. We name our makers because we know them, and we keep our runs short so nothing ends up on a markdown rail.
